I bet the only Sane guy is modeled after who created the video (unless it's a modified HL2 rebel, which had some similarities)

And EA isn't as bad as Activision as far as shadyness goes, at least EA has opened to try new markets and give opportunities to small developers, DICE might be big now but it's expansion is all due to EA's investment, they weren't even known outside Europe before the Battlefield series :/.

But yeah, Origin is BS, but just like Activision, they're just answering to the consumers demand. Look at last year's Call of Duty, on January people were already asking when the next CoD would come out, same with Battlefield :/. It would take only a year without a CoD being released to the mass media to consider the series dead andleave the dominance to Battlefield.

I hate EA and Activision... they make me feel bad about buying video games now.  I really want to play diablo 3, but I can't justify spending money on it.

[/quote]Funnily enough, the companies who people have all sorts of anger about, like Activision for CoD, etc. and Capcom for their on-disc DLC practices, are the ones who haven't adopted online passes yet, though Capcom is saying its a possibility with RE6

Yup, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit.  That said I think that the always on DRM is complete bullshit and I'm 95% certain that Torchlight 2 will provide at least an equal gameplay experience.  That and I'm pretty sure that you don't have to play through the story on easy mode on every single character before you're allowed to be challenged.
