I got a job offer for a decent paying IT position starting next month and continuing through early next year, kinda "we need extra people for a rollout, but afterward probably not."  I can't seem to be excited about this.

So, placed an order for new computer parts on Sunday, but the order got voided yesterday because newegg said what I entered for my billing information and what my card says didn't match. actually the exact opposite is true, there's a 5k bonus for being with the project start to finish.  But yeah, I'm taking it, because it doesn't start for a month and if Company X calls between now and then, I'm not a contractor, so i can leave.

I'd say go for it, seems like they actually want you to stay for the duration of the project. At least you know what you're getting into. I was told they were going to keep me around for a year and all the sudden 4 months in "i'm not performing up to the metric" even though I'm a fast mother fucker.

did you try the dorito taco? I thought it was pretty tasty but the shell was too thin; it got flimsy faster so I'd recommend getting it if you'll eat it within 5 minutes otherwise it gets too soggy/flimsy.

D: Käse, i think you would love to talk to my girlfriend. She's studying Biotechnology Engineering, graduating next year and she's all into that stuff, talking about science-y stuff all day. She always talks some stuff about PCRs and other science workds my head can't metabolize.
