Essentially. More of a rank than a name. The branded (corrupted) along with the Shatterer all serve the big elder dragon Kralkatorrik. Still wish that thing woulda landed though, but I guess striking down Trace, Lag and Steins a few times works just as well. Edit: Mighta read that wrong. Yeah that was actually the shatterer. Got a few glimpses up close but forgot to take pics.

2.4mb sig ã(ಠâ¿â¿à² ã)      (â¯à² â¿â¿à² )â¯ï¸µbıs qɯ4Ë2
it really is the shatterer, it wasn't razing the countryside or anything, but it would drop crystals down which blocked off waypoints and you had to go destroy them to make the waypoints usable. it also dropped a lv80 champion devourer that two of the heroes of the game, rytlock and eir were supposed to kill, except they walked too slow and the servers shut down before they even got close to getting there Guild Wars 2 HQ (Shatterer Attacks @ Gamescom 2010).avi |

Is Guild Wars 1 worth going into nowadays? I sorta feel like going through it for the story as I've heard it's largely instanced, but don't really wanna drop $20 on something where a dead or dying community would just make life difficult.

The prophecies campaign was pretty enjoyable, but at this point unless you are aiming to unlock stuff for the Hall of Monuments or whatever I'd say save your money. Although if you do decide to get it, there's still plenty of people about, at least from what I saw a couple weeks ago.

Prophecies is enjoyable until the part where you meet up with the Mursaat and you don't get the storymode item that makes them not give you -6 health degeneration.

So Sogo and I are planning on a Guild Wars 1 retro run this friday. Anyone else feel like joining our campaign of destruction and laughs across Tyria?

You'd think it be better to skip it. Four hours of that would be like getting less than three hours of sleep. It won't help and you'll just feel worse than you did before.
Though, I'm curious what they're stress-testing. Servers seemed to work perfectly fine last time since they went full-overkill on upgrading the amount of servers.

2.4mb sig ã(ಠâ¿â¿à² ã)      (â¯à² â¿â¿à² )â¯ï¸µbıs qɯ4Ë2 |
