Tonight confirmed my suspicions of my boss hating me. Right in front of my dad too.

Today I found out that my application to transfer from UF to UCF was denied. Apparently two years ago I exceeded their standards for freshman admissions, but the intervening two years have reduced their desire, or perhaps they developed a grudge because I rejected them previously. Either way now I need to either find a new major that doesn't have high GPA standards and I can complete within two years, or drop out of college and find a career. I dun goofed and now my hopes for a fresh start have been shut down.

My FML right now is that I'm copying everything that's on my D: partition to an external pocket drive so that I can expand my C: drive to 50GB instead of 30GB because there's a lot of shit out there that doesn't ask where to install. So my stuff is going to be copying for the next 12 hours or more depending if it hits thousands of small files somewhere. Does anyone know of a good free hard drive ghosting program because I would really like to ghost my C and put it on to a 64GB SSD I have and run off that. Woo hoo ACEN here I come. |
Clonezilla is a good, free, ghosting program (boot CD in fact), but you shouldn't ghost an HDD to an SSD, you'll get terribad performance. You'll be better served by just reinstalling, although reinstalling to a 64GB SSD is going to be rough. "If you want to be a Double E, bend over and grab your knees...."
Yeah I wish I didn't have so much software installed that I don't want to spend a week reinstalling. I think once I get my C: expanded to 50GB It'll be better. Also installing Windows 7 in audit mode is what I'd do if I did a reinstall that would allow me to set the users folder to the D Drive which is where the bulk of my problems lie atm. He also went to my high school. Shawn Johnson is from Iowa and my wife's cousin competed against her in a few competitions back in the day. I actually feel kind of bad for her though, she blew out both her knees and can't really compete anymore.
