Yesterday I played a massive game of Warhammer 40k (Free-for-all Apocalypse Style) with the other people in my Escalation League this summer, was a great meet & greet.
Then about half of that group came back to my place to roll our characters for the Black Crusade campaign we're going to do this summer as well. I'm super pumped, although I've got to write a paragraph of backstory for my Heretek. That's cool though because I've been working on something ever since my friends mentioned wanting to run a 40k RPG, so I think I've got it handled. And my girlfriend (chef) cooked us schnitzel & german potato salad, to feed all of us + her + one of her friends from high school who's visiting. Was a good day.
