Rummy one thing you should definitely do is find out who the biggest asshole divorce lawyer is and schedule a meeting, put down a retainer, and then go pick someone else. It's a worthwhile precaution just in case your wife turns vengeful. There is a certain kind of lawyer that knows how to manipulate emotional situations like this for nearly endless fees through excessive litigation.

My dad and my boss both got burned by the same attorney that is well known for this here. My dad gave my boss this advice the second he separated and he ignored it, now his divorce has no end in sight and he is paying for her lawyer to drag it out as long as he can.
