and yet when one gets posted, it's the end of the world :/ shame...

You kidding? Every other poster is a dick, and the one's that aren't are pricks.

And as in salt-snail war of old, the unmistakable stench of an approaching cataclysm hangs in the air of brbu. Lines are being drawn among a population weary of being collectively labeled as dongs. The prophecy of the angel's fabled tits is inspiring a strength and hardiness in the dicks not felt since Kirby, their leader, mysteriously disappeared.

P.S. does anyone know why kirby has been mia for a while? I'd feel bad posting this if something happened that I didn't know about.

We don't talk about what happened to Kirby.

Cleaned out my keyboard today. Feels good not to have all that hair and crumbs sitting under there.

I've never been stoned, but I have watched this show with a bunch of friends while eating waffles.  I believe the two feelings are similar.

Also, never question Bob Ross.  "What the hell is that going to be, Bob?!"  "Are you questioning his genius?"  And then it turns out to be AWESOME.

I just moved to North Dakota.

Dunno how I feel about it, really. I left everything I was familiar with behind in coming here. People. Places. Friends. All of it is 900 miles away.

On the other hand, nodak is already proving to be an interesting place. The landscape is fantastic, the colors are brilliant, everything is clean nature and today the weather was perfect. I've never felt so compelled to just be out in nature. There's a state university here, and the state's economy is one of the best conditions in the nation. I feel like there's a lot available for me to do while I'm here.

I'm well aware that the winters will be something else entirely.

I have a lot on my mind about this, and I'm really trying to see this as something that will ultimately be a good thing for me. I don't have any alternatives, and probably won't for quite some time.

Wouldn't this qualify for the FML thread.

That sucks dude. That means property values will drop.

Not really too worried about property values since I rent.

I just don't want to start having to put up claymores around the property line. Tongue

Did you move out there for a job or for school?

and you can ask HeK about the winters....Winnipeg is probably going to have the closest thing to ND winters.

North Dakota is nice, clean, friendly, also boring. Likely the last to get anything cool.
A bit of a trade off.

Winters are cold, dry and harsh. North Dakota doesn't salt or even sand their roads, so hiway driving is fun. Towns and citys vary.

Another plus side is less tax and no tax on clothing Tongue

Enjoy Fargo, eh!

The economy is good because there's a lot of oil moving through the area.

Post some pictures and keep us updated with North Dakotan life. I'm curious.

I moved out of necessity. Chicago has no jobs for a white college boy with an associate's. I had no family left in Illinois so I came here. I will be going to school here, though. And working of course.

I'm actually in Minot. Seems to be a decent place. You're right about it being tame/boring though.

Yep. Been going on for a few years now. Lots of industry coming through here. Now that that's been going on, the price of rent/property in general has skyrocketed, which is shitty. Everyone is trying to find somewhere to live while they aren't out in the oil fields.

I don't think so. If there's an opportunity for me to get into that though, I'd definitely take it. Those fuckers make money.

I had taken some pictures on my phone, but phone cameras are shitty. I'll share what I find that is notable. The scenery, as I said earlier, is gorgeous. Coming here from Illinois is like putting on pyrovision on badwater.
