So today I discovered that someone had bothered to add an auxiliary plug to the ancient lab stereo system.

Got bored, so I decided I got inspired to try and make a simple bot like the one mentioned in the alt text of this xkcd.
http://xkcd.com/1083/ Anyway, turns out the twitter api is pretty easy, so I started banging out a script in python this evening. Feels good just to program for the sake of programming. |

So tonight I went and ate some yakitori (chicken and other assorted meat and stuff on stick grilled over some imported Japanese charcoal) which was absolutely fan-tastic. The stars were definitely the pork belly and the fatty chicken hearts. Amazing stuff.
Then I ate a bunch of stuff at a Vietnamese outdoor food fair thing and ate things including: more meat on sticks, multiple fried banana variants, raw oysters (yes, from a street vendor), Vietnamese pancakes, some neon green waffles, sugar cane juice, sausage spring rolls, and probably more things I can't really remember. Basically, 4 hours of non-stop food hunting and consumption. |

Smooth criminal backstab on an enemy spy while he was cloaked. He starts complaining telling people report "stolen bread" for aimbotting. Then only a few minutes later he gets lit by a pyro a second before I headshot him with my ambassador and he starts bitching and screaming about "HOW DID YOU LIGHT ME ON FIRE WITH YOUR AMBASSADOR!?"
;D Also new military ID photo turns out great. Nice! |

Looking at ebay auctions for synths I bought a few years ago. For most of them the value has quadrupled. 8)

Thanks to a large infusion of BRB,U community members, the UGC steel team "Lampshaders United" finished Season 7.
Our record is now 4 and 4 with our win last night. Three days of watching the Olympics must have given us the drive, because we put on our serious faces and dug into the choke points. If we weren't allowed to push the cart then neither were they. Thank you to The Fabulous Fabled Don Coelit and Paulokon1981. :-* |

ensign july update 2-
found out bank card wasn't working due to attempted identity theft. no money was taken thankfully and the card the dumbfucks had shipped out was never activated. made more bank and a few nights ago got a new psu (my old one was only 300v, wtf hp never doing prebuilt again) and a new gpu (nvidia- evga geforce gtx 670). now in savings mode until the level10 mouse comes out (since my old mouse's scrollwheel is acting up). and work's been fine. |

Woke up to a call from American Eagle wanting me to come in for orientation tomorrow.

Since you said orientation I'm gonna assume you had the interview already but if not I'd recommend not wearing a full suit especially if it's just retail. |
