Last summer I remember driving back and forth across the US and Canada... I fucking hate both countries cause of how big they are. I need to move back to New Zealand.

I was also under the impression that the slightest hydroplaning would make a bike slip.

Things to watch out for when it's raining; wet paint (well it's technically wet), and manhole covers. Also, road oils tend to rise up at the beginning of a rainfall that cause a little slickness. You basically just have to be more careful. Be smooth on the brakes and throttle. This rule should be followed in any vehicle under reduced traction, if you slam on the brakes, it's going to stop slower than if you keep traction with the ground. Of course, ABS removes this aspect of things, but the idea still stands.

I've ridden in heavy downpours before and it's not a big deal. I even got the back end to kick out a little bit going through my power band!

And when I think to myself that hydroplaning has never been an issue for me, it turns out there's a reason for it
