it looks like you can customize loadouts within classes. such as scope/zoon/laser sight/grips to weapons. Unkown if that will be class-bound or if you skill up a gun it will work across all eligible classes (I hope the latter).

Restricting repair to engie and heal/res other to medic look to be pretty dumb choices. Having the Heavy Assault weapons married to Rexo Armor makes some sense, but most of what made PS great was the ability for any player to repair/res/heal. After winning a hard-fought scrape, it was great to re-animate and refresh the squad. Made for great tactical play of tight groups.

That was nice, but in reality we'd have one or two people with enough certs in healing to rez people.  While I'd prefer the old style, I doubt there'll be much actual gameplay difference between that and this.  Just more focused roles.

Without mines, what the hell will Eschatos do all day?  Run over bushes?  Also Caff I wouldn't over worry the BF type classes.  Although it will be of a different type, I think there will be plenty of customization.  And if you consider how it is in PS, every player has pretty much the same loadout for each role.  Minor concern not being able to carry the medigun and armor repair gun all the time.  But it's ok by me so long as only specialized role players carry those.  I'd be willing to bet some of the ingame currency (not real money) sidegrades will be able to make significant enough changes to alter the style of a gun.  IE Pulsar is now more like lasher.  What really need to go is infantry carrying lockon missiles that work vs aircraft.

No.  I fixed that problem last week by going into my box and discovering the vid card fan was completely jammed up with cat hair..  ew.. lol..    anywho,  I been up and running ever since.  and I just put a new vid card in today which is a complete coincidence  ;D

When i got into the tech test, i didn't get my email until 11am pdt the day i got in.  According to them, their e-mails are slower than activation, and it's not even 9am pdt so their work day hasn't even started.

Lastly, the server isn't up until 2pm pdt anyways.
