So, what all the bullshit over the past two thread pages boils down to is:

1) Don't believe everything you read on the internet

1a) Do some research

2) let's talk about overthrowing the government

?Ok, we're done being retarded, right?

So after we overthrow the US Government can we bring down the British Monarchy? (British republican ftw)
What's the point of removing a figurehead?
General public opinion across the commonwealth shows that if the queen and the princes were dead, they'd vote to abolish the monarchy and create a republic.
When I visited Australia I was told they had an election on whether or not to stay under the monarchy despite being a different government. Aussies like the queen apparently.  Also I wonder what the cost of supporting the English figureheads is.
It can probably be offset by appearances and events and such.

The commonwealths (UK, NZ, CA, AU, etc) do like the queen, and they like Prince William. However, they don't like her husband, and are pretty split on Harry. So if either one of them were to take the crown, you could probably say goodbye to the commonwealths. I don't remember exact numbers, but it's pretty expensive to have someone in power who really has no power these days. The crown is mostly ceremonial, with politics handled by the local parliaments and prime ministers. Sure the queen can step in if she needs to and run her countries, but that's rare.

In a time before Canada was Canada, Hamilton(my home) was founded by Loyalists. We love our Royals. Even when Charles and Camilla showed up a few years ago, they still had thousands show up for a peek. There's a statue of Queen Victoria from her heyday in the heart of downtown.

I attended elementary school and some of middle school in Hamilton(Ontario right?)! Prince Phillips? G R Allen?
My good friend went to med school at McMasters and still lives there and I visit her when I can.

Absolutely Ontario. Any other Hamilton's in the world are strictly pretenders.

Clearly you've never been to Hamilton, New Zealand. Beautiful city with amazing people.

You assume correctly. Hamilton does indeed possess its own hidden beauty, its people a likewise hidden charm.

I am very disturbed by this article. The man it's about is me, just from a different style of life, and if I was in a different set of circumstances, I can honestly say that everything that he did is well within my grasp of doing and justification.

It's saying that we should all have something to celebrate in Romney, because no matter which issue you slice him along, he's straddling the issue and hedging his bets.

In other political news, Romney is quite possibly the Mayor Of Whoville.

So I drew a dwarf to use for a picture in a game it turned out I couldn't even install, but I liked the drawing and decided to use it for my steam avatar.
[Image: vphOv.png]This is the dwarf.
When I uploaded it, nothing showed up, but every other picture worked. I made a copy of the dwarf in another file format. No dwarf. I screencapped the dwarf and cropped it. No dwarf. So I just decided to draw some blood spatter on this goddamn dwarf because of the problems it'd given me.
[Image: U8vPd.jpg]And then it worked.
Uploading a picture of a dwarf ended in bloodshed.
