i remember playing the hell out of the first one so im thinking about going legit with this one so i can multiplay with some peeps.

watched a tech demo of what visual improvements they made if your card is PhysX enabled and its p cool.

and apparently they're doing a nice promotion giving digital download coupons for B2 for anyone wanting to upgrade their video card (660 670 and 680 only) im thinkin 300 dollar video card with free game is very attractive.

Roommates and I are pumped for it. We beat the original borderlands in a weekend. This will probably be a day 1 purchase for us.

also, where is this deal? My friend is looking into video cards atm.

My thoughts are "when did pci express 3.0 become a thing?" I just upgraded my motherboard less than two weeks, good to know I'm already out of date. Are all 3 of the cards 3.0? Was considering buying one because of the combo deal.

That said, game looks really sweet and I should be getting it before launch, one way or another.

Since November 2010. It was however, announced in August 2007. PCIe 4.0 was announced last November.

To give an idea how long these things take, the Radeon 7970 was the first PCIe 3.0 card on the market and it was released this January.

I never played the first one, but for some reason Borderlands 2 has been looking very attractive to me. Maybe I'm gay for Anthony Burch, or maybe the improvements they've made to this one make it seem like it will be better. Oh well, I'm guessing it won't be hard to find a group of BRBUers to play with once the game launches.

The Physx stuff looks sweet, and I loved Borderlands. Wish I had an Nvidia card to try it out with. Would be glad to pick up the second game, but I need to conserve my cash, so I'll wait until I hear the general consensus.
