FUCK FILM SCHOOL
... Ok maybe not the whole school, just my group I'm stuck with. I got this fucking cunt, an autistic puppy, and a walking boner for my group. I but heads at every pass, and the cunt has realized that if she overly flirts with the boner dude, she can turn him to her side. So I'm slowly being outed in the group. The shitty part of it all is, I'm stuck with them till the end of the semester. Oh well... I'm just going to be the adult and conduct the rest of the projects in a purely business manner. If she wants to be a welp then she can. She'll just pay for it next semester. Quote:I vote that we always type in different colors now. |

That just reminded me of my lab partner who didn't know how to adjust micropipettes and do simple lab calculations. I am also stuck with him for a semester. How wonderful.

The VA dropped an... odd... amount of money in my account. Which is fucking nice, because I guess my claim has been approved.
The Problem is; either it's for just this month, which is great and even better than expected, or it's the back pay for the past 7 months from when I filed my claim, which means I'm getting the shaft. Â AND THERE IS NO WAY TO FUCKING FIND OUT IN A TIMELY MANNER BECAUSE THEIR SUPPORT SUCKS. Â |

So I've been talking to my ex's friend the past couple of days. nothing serious but we seem to be clicking, and I like her a bit. I guess my ex found out about it and is pretty pissed off. Hopefully she'll get over it and this won't screw any chances I had up. I only dated my ex for like 2 months and we've been broken up for a while now, I don't understand what the problem is. She makes this whole big deal about it then has to get the last word in and pulls the "i'm going to make believe that it doesn't bother me anymore even though I just flipped my lid about it". Perhaps I'm alone in this viewpoint, but if one of my friends got along really well with one of my ex's I'd rather they be happy you know? It's not like we were together for 2 years or something and she's stealing me away or something.
Welp, apparently things aren't going to work out now. I just don't fucking understand. It's like she thinks that because I'm becoming friends with her friend, that they can no longer be friends. This isn't fucking steam chat where you have a limit of how many people you can have on your friends list.
Fucking selfish childish bitch. Looks like my buddy jack daniels is here tonight. Fuck I never realized how strong whiskey tasted with just ice. the answers my students gave on the short response section of this exam are making me reconsider how effecting my TAing is. I really hope the reason why these answers make no fucking sense is because they didn't know the answer and just threw down words to get a few points...
ok what the hell this question says "function" twice, but they keep giving incredible detail on structures. I certainly talked a lot of structures, but that's no excuse for completely ignoring the point of the question, right?

Thought process: I have no fucking clue about function, but the TA talked a lot about structures and I remember structures so if I show him how much I know about structures maybe he'll give me some points despite me not addressing the question at all. -------------- I just watched one of the events I am involved with (see here for initial bitching post) get delayed by 45 minutes due to incompetence and people not knowing how to operate the audio equipment they are in charge of and what is required to properly operate it. I offered no help and instead went off campus and bought a Y cable because while I am indeed terrible, I still don't want the situation to repeat itself the next time someone wants to use the audio system.
yeah, exactly. The question was "what are 3 diffs between the functions of DNA and RNA", and probably like, half the students made two columns titled DNA and RNA, and then listed 3 things under each. also big ups to a couple students who said that yes, spontaneous generation of flies is a real thing ??? Most of them are freshman (It is intro biology for majors), so I'm guessing they're not used to having to learn this much info, quickly, on their own. or maybe the prof isn't very good at teaching, judging by her reviews on sites that rate profs. because those sites are so reliable right |

While the dumb answers are disheartening, hopefully they will either weed out some of those students or smack them into the proper direction. What pisses me off is that most courses (in my experience) cater to mindless information regurgitation instead of thought or understanding. |

It's the classic mind trick where if you get a few people staring at the sky in public other people will also look at the sky to see what the fuss is all about. So, when your ex broke up with you, she didn't think other chicks were checking you out. Now that her friend is seeing value in you, your ex is pissed at herself for possibly missing out on something she didn't see herself. It likely has very little to do with you (and whether your ex likes you), and more about how your ex isn't sure enough to trust her own judgment and is still looking to peer clues to inform her of what's good and what's bad. |
No seriously, like go to the pysch insane. I understand what you're saying though. It would certainly apply any other time. She seems to have reached the conclusion that we were talking to conspire against her. Perhaps there's a large piece of the puzzle that I'm missing however, because I asked her multiple times if she could please explain what she is so upset about (in relation to be befriending her friend), and she would avoid the question. I'm not too worried about it though, lots of good stuff coming up, and if Emily is really interested in me, she'll tell my ex to grow up. This closed our conversation, and I feel as if I have peaked in my linquistic skill "Ex: U wish u did don't you. Ugh u hate u let's stop talking. Done. Done. Done.
