Lynchwood itself is just a side quest.  I dont remember having to do anything there for the story at all :/

Well it does have some back story of why Brick did what he did that got him kicked out of sanctuary.

Anyone else thinks its weird that Hyperion runs the NewU? kinda ass backwards unless Jack's plan was to kill you enough times to drain your bank account before taking your name off the Newu list. I know its there game wise for respawning, but they could had someone else running it :u

hyperion cares more about making money than you actually stopping them. if you did the one side quest with handsome jack audio logs

I grabbed it yesterday and played it for abit.  Not too bad so far, though I haven't gotten too deep into it yet.  Some real nasty enemies I've found in it, such as Cursed Pirates.  They are skeleton badasses that absorb health whenever they hit you and they damage you if you shoot them.  Also got a reasonably nice orange rocket launcher called "Bonus Bunny" I think that bounces along the ground to explode when you reload lol

Once you kill the [spoiler]Leviathan and loot the nice room full of treasure[/spoiler], the last section of Pirate's Booty is repeatable. [spoiler]For more killing of the Leviathan and looting the nice room full of treasure[/spoiler].
