Radiant Deer Book Signing

It's been a while since I last posted here. My final semester at school was pretty busy, as was the following months after graduation. That shit fest regarding Dave a long while ago really made me think about my place in the community as a pedantic child with a big ego and a bigger mouth. So that's all behind me.

My thesis project was a collaboration between me, my religions professor Dana Sawyer (look him up on google), and Khen Rinpoche (also look him up, famous Tibetan monk). I was to illustrate a contemporary and translated tale of the Radiant (or colorful, or prismatic, depending on translation) Deer, a folk tale part of a set of tales (Tripitaka) detailing the adventures of the Buddha in his past life as various animals (they were actually just regular tales about anthropomorphic animals doing stuff, just retooled to include the Buddha).

Well my professor got the book printed and published by the Siddhartha School, and theres going to be a book signing! Its got around 24-26 full color illustrations, and has been translated into English and Tibetan, as well as its original language Hindi.
