Unfortunately not. The cockpits are a serious issue :\ But I don't even go up in the air due to AA issues. Even with the AA nerf you're still a giant target.

Although... for your huds there's an option in the gameplay(?) section that let's you center your hud components(Ammo/Shield/HP/Active) into faded arcs around the reticule. the minimalist hud mode is better.
Squad up, if there was one thing i learned from battlefield and is reinforced by ps2, you are not a one man army that can kill/capture/do everything. There are squad waypoints. There are also waypoints the entire faction in vision you can drop, but i'm assuming that it takes the utility slot. Still it's nice to see a purple light tower at an entrance and an entire toon surrounding the building. |

A reminder: your ability to buy alpha-squad ends friday. It pretty much is just buying 40 dollars worth of station cash in advance, but it gives you free weapon unlocks for each class, free xp boosts, and some other bonuses.
Also: The beta ends on friday at midnight PST and launches again tuesday as the full game (hopefully). So, we only have two days left to cause some rucuses before the riffraff starts to show up. |

Anybody want to play next week? My schedule this quarter is hell but once Monday's midterm is out of the way, I'll have a few free days on campus until Thanksgiving (classes gettin' canceled in the already short week, hell ya).
