I asked and I recieved.  Woke up today and my voice is almost completely gone.  Work tonight is gonna be a bitch.

I can run BF3 on high just fine, Planetside on low eats my comp alive. 

There's a few optimization things you can do, check the PS2 forums and edit your user.ini file

Sadly with my CPU overheating and self underclocking, I was still getting better FPS than some people.

And I can't get a lot in any of the places in Riverside, had to call and cancel signing the lease.

But I am still on the city's waiting list, I guess come Jan 1st if I do get a spot and the apartment is still available I might get lucky.

Internet PSU died in the middle of PS2 shenanigans. "John" from India proved that language barriers aren't a problem when you're just terrible at your job, and lie to save face. Found out my ISP doesn't even stock home modem parts anymore at any of the stores in the city; only after visiting 2 stores. Going to the second was a mistake, but was made because the first store's employees are equally terrible at their job, like "John", not having a clue to what services are available. It's this kind of shit that makes me want to get back into CS/Retail, because I'd be that guy that actually enjoys seeing people walk away satisfied, if not, at least informed.

TL; DR: Losing internet for a few days isn't a big deal, so long as the information is reliable.

I was once told by a CSR that my router had spyware, which is why the modem was dropping link.
Wasn't related to the flooded conduit which carried the neighbourhood's cable supply..... not at all.

I know that feel man. Back when I was on cable, Vandam and I were having intermittent problems. CSR blamed everything but the ISP. Tech came down, did a line test, the problem was about 7 feet from our unit. Two feet underground. Turned out mice nibbled through the insulation and were shorting out the line. It was an entertaining experience having the tech call it in. Those scripts, man. Negating critical thinking, all day.
