Yup, going to med school to get a degree of Doctor of Medicine
But I assume you meant why I wanted to be a physician. All of the usual reasons apply; I want a meaningful career, preferably one in which I work with and help people, and one that keeps me mentally engaged. I find biological sciences fascinating, and the application of them to medicine even moreso. But really, I think it's a noble profession, one which will grant me a set of skills of greater value and gravity than anything else I can envision. There are some more personal reasons too, of course, but if you can think of a reason someone would want to practice medicine, it probably applies to me in some measure. |

Holy fuck. Anyone who has an interest in cardiovascular health but finds running to be boring as fuck should start barbell deadlifting. I haven't sweat this much since I ran a 10k in the summer.

I loved them until I started getting to the point that if I were to fail on my rep, I wouldn't be able to get it back up on the pins to do my next set. Also, my quads are disproportionally large compared to my upper body. So, I'm taking a break on those and just doing deads to supplement (kinda) some lower body compounds. So far where I really feel it is in my forearms and my lower back. I can feel my grip getting stronger. [/quote]well, obviously for anything where you think you might fail have someone spotting you if you're consistently squatting weight that would make you fail during a rep then just do lower weight but do it slower and go lower to the ground |

Well I do ATG no matter what, but I have a safety bar in my cage so I can lift without a spotter. Sure it'd be nice to have someone to help me lift the bar back up when I fail, but unfortunately no one around is awake at that time of night.

Saw Cirque Du Solei Amaluna this weekend. One of the best shows I've ever seen... Outside the Lindsey Stirling concert last month. :3
