What are their interests?
Different people have different tastes. My mom enjoys gardening and coffee, that doesn't mean your mom does as well. ask me about mpreg |

If she doesn't have this already, a nice set of knives/knife? Or a knife sharpener?
(I find that for cooking, the experience is not as fun if I have to use a mediocre knife. Some nice knives: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0...f%20knives I really like these spice racks (modern! organized!): http://fab.com/sale/14818 If you have the time, you can easily make one by ordering a few hexagonal glass jars, strong magnets, and a metal sheet. This is quite useless (I never use chopstick rests, I feel like it's a restaurant exclusive thing), but so cute: http://fab.com/sale/14961/product/205484/?usid=6 ask me about mpreg |

Girls always seem to love awesome bathrobes. Not like the $10 bullshit from walmart but an honest to god bathrobe.Â
I have more but Helix stalks my posts and she has no clue what's she's getting for Christmas. |

I generally default to Starbucks gift cards when I can't think of anything better for someone. One actually good option if you know what the person is into are Threadless tshirts.

The only problem with thinking of cool gifts is that I inevitably want to buy everything for myself (WHOEVER I GIVE IT TO WON'T APPRECIATE IT LIKE I WOULD).
