generally the back boards and legs are detachable.

The back-box folds down on most machines. Luckily, it detaches on this one.

I was thinking of removing the glass and playfield, but they weren't heavy so we carried the cabinet down.
The biggest problem is the two flights of spiral (at least it wasn't a tight spiral) stairs. The elevator hasn't worked since 1919.
