Pretty cheap at this point.  I've got a PS3 and good TV, any major reason to own a BD burner?

<+Karrde> welp, time to learn some basic patterning skills

<@Negate> there is a simple pattern
<+Karrde> I changed my mind.  Gonna cosplay as a gay demon from hell and get negate raped instead XD
<+Caffeine`work> Karrde: Gay demon? Why would you need to cosplay just go as yourself
<+FlyingMongoose> Caffeine`work: Karrde would actually have to tone it down some.

I wouldn't bother. There's a multitude of ways you can stream media to a PS3 or any other device.

The only reason I can think of to own one would be burning PS3 games....but you can just load them onto the PS3's HDD if you really wanted to.

Save yourself 40 bucks and buy a 32 gig USB stick.

The only reason I can think of owning one for PC is so you can watch blu ray movies on it, you might as well just pirate a better version of it.

I built a computer without a disc drive... if I need the files from a disc... I load them into a compy with a disc drive, and transfer to thumb drive. Done.
