Do you have a really old video card? ATI?

Try running a file verification from inside the launcher.

As for loading times, buy a faster drive? I think I load in <3 seconds, map changes in <1.

I had a really good time defending Saero(sp?) Listening Post on Esamir by myself with maybe 2 or 3 other guys at any given moment against TR and NC individuals and squads for around 30 minutes. I channeled my inner giraffe and tank mined sundies before going in and picking off the survivors one by one.

Then I discovered that flying a scyth under a tech plant is a fantastic diversionary tactic when you bail and tank mine the sundy they are using for spawns.

Shields were down, though I might attempt to wiggle in a Scythe at the top just to see if it's plausible.

it is just takes some luck and skill to hit it just right, then you have a full scale distraction followed by hundreds of LA to cap point

I spent like 3 mins trying this outside an active base before I gave up (died). I don't think the opening is tall enough.

The distraction only lasts long enough to spring to the sundy. I'll have to remember to record this the next time I feel silly enough to try it.
