At first, I was all like, I'm too busy/inexperienced/cool to record vids.

Then, I was like, I'm also not very good at this game to share vids.

Seeing this makes me want to start recording so I can see how my vids get edited.

Trade secrets: [spoiler]you watch 20 min of video for every 30 secs of footage you actually want/need and result well its been 10 hours of work here's your 5 min video[/spoiler]

no but seriously i started doing this with no experience. Its not hard its just time consuming going through finding the clips you want and making proper cuts of them to keep pacing or go with music etc.
The only thing i wish i had was a license so i could you something much more robust like sony vegas 12 rather than free video editing software.

Not being a crybaby because it didn't make it into the video, especially since I sympathise with the 20 minutes of video watching per 30 seconds of footage (or less), but I can't tell if I'm making that better, worse, or just being ignored.

just saying im doing this for the sake of brbu not for youtube fame.(i dont care that I dont get commments, likes, subs, etc.) Because from what i know that gets to be a lot of work pumping out vids and i dont have time for that level of commitment unless I get payed a handsome sum to do it
The problem is we dont have a fanbase outside of the brbu members themselves. and those dont really count

The first ps2 vid i made got over 300 veiws and i have no idea why. I'll try to go through footage and get an even better vid up some time in the next couple weeks (I hope) and we will build from there

Im fairly certain Elder is downloading everything that people post. To be fair few people have commented on what has been posted. Im not looking at anything else people post and saying 'yea post that'

And Elder already said more would be coming.

As for what to post, whatever you feel was a cool moment, be it us bullshitting on voice comms, a short frag reel, great/lucky shot. Not everything will end up in the final product but I would hope that everyone that submits something gets at least a little clip included.

post all footage and links for downloads i will download them and basically i deem it worth putting in or not. It is a very arrogant thing to say but thats how it goes.
The problem with the last video was that i had set up timeslots for people and i couldnt really do much around that unless i did re-edits of large portions of the video. The next one i plan on pulling together more footage of more people and pay less repect to trying to sync it with music.
So in response at0m post dl links of videos you think are interesting like the saving private ryan sniping vid. The one where you are stuck in the ground would be good too.

In short keep it coming.

The subject of the next video is comedy, so if you have funny clips i want them.
If you have serious frag vid style clips send those too. (They just won't get used right away)

I just don't want to raise the noise level by making you sit through every single minute of my gameplay if that's not useful for you. If I know what you're looking for (or get a 'yes, more of that' to a particular thing), then I can focus on either cutting my videos down myself or at least time-tagging them so you know which bits are useful and don't have to sit through a half hour of us riding around in a sunderer or waiting for Galaxies to land. Picking up what I'm putting down, here?
