Sometimes on startup windows explorer crashes. If I reload it it works fine. Anyone know what's going on? Malware scans come up negative.

Which version of windows?
Either way, I'd run sfc /scannow in admin command prompt, and try turning off all startup items with msconfig/task manager and see if the problem repeats itself upon restart. |
