I got mine done a few weeks ago, haven't bothered taking pictures since it's too subtle. But it's very nice.

[/quote]35% is the lowest that's legal here, and I wasn't really interested in trying to get an exception, nor do I really like how cars look with the windows blacked out but the windshield normal, so I've got 45% film added to the stock tint. Ends up around 40, I think.

Because it can limit your visibility. My sister in law had 5% all the way around and at night you pretty much had to guess if there was a car next to you or not.

It's a 2009 Lancer GTS (Now just called GT) that had 40k miles on it and I got it for $13k, marked down from $17k.

I have 45% front, 35% rears (legal limit here) and I have a very hard time backing up at night. Way too dark.
I should have gone 45% all around, keep it looking balanced. I think that will be the plan if we ever tint the wagon.

In my province, trucks and vans only have a tint limit on the front windows, the rears can be painted solid if you wanted.

Wouldn't sunglasses be a superior alternative if that was the only motive?

I guess it helps keep your car cooler in the sun but we have air conditioning so that's not a very good point.
