[/quote] I am greatly perplexed by the implication that they're still digging graves by hand in Michigan. |

They have small scale excavation machines depending on the cemetery or funeral home. Some do not. But with the ground being mostly frozen you run the risk of causing it to pull up... extra on either side. You're better off waiting for thaw.

Boston Marathon bombing happened. I was heading to the area it happened literally 30 minutes before it happened buy decided not to since it was too crowded. Was 4 blocks away when it went off and they evacuated the grocery store. Fuck those sickos who do that.

it takes a good bit of effort and discipline to run a marathon. I never have.
it takes a ton of hard work and elite level dedication to qualify for Boston. I've only known people secondhand. whoever is responsible, foreign or domestic, is an monster that has no appreciation for the best of humanity. whoever is responsible for acts like these makes death-by-stoning look neither cruel nor unusual. give me #77. |

We got a call from the hotel that is hosting our Chicago event (EDIT: for work) next Tuesday/Wednesday which we've been planning for 2 months: "Guess what, were bumping your event because the group before you want to stay longer, deal with it."
Now we have to tell all the industry folks and award winners that we're going to another hotel and we're going to look like total fuckups who can't even secure a room. 4 hours later, shit gets real in Boston. - Former Counselor-in-Training/Co-worker of mine finished the marathon 15 min before the blasts - Former High school sent a contingent to the marathon today to watch, no news on their status (which is good news) - Middle School teacher from my old hometown had his dad watching for him at finish line. His dad took shrapnel to the back, will be just fine after surgery tomorrow. (04-15-2013, 06:17 PM)rumsfald link Wrote: give me #77.That's a lucky number... |

I'd rather live in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't stand living in the Baltimore/DC/Boston/NYC corridor. Too many Democrats ;D

I loved my time on the eastern seaboard, rocking the atlantic.
I loved my time in northern new england, when I considered massholes to be flatlanders. I loved my time in texas, with beer and fresh handmade tortillas in every supermarket. I loved my time in the midwest, with cold clear morns, the sounds of trains in the nights, and drive-through beer stores. I love my time in the mid-atlantic, in the cradle of liberty. I think this whole country is great, even the parts that I don't quite fit in. |

My mom has gone through the 5th car in 4 months. There is always an excuse for it too.
Oh and I feel sick as all hell. |
