This is going to probably sound sad.. but i've never heard those games before.. The games i've played is FLYFF and Perfect World. I spend most of my time on the RP site called Elite Skills.

I thought the only human who did this was Azure_Angel?

Did what?
[/quote]

Azure uses blue colored text in all of her replies/posts, so it's a little confusing seeing someone else use do that.

oh lol. I just thought I'd make the text blue... lol

Anyways welcome to the forum, enjoy your stay. Smile

Slightly off-topic - but as someone who likes to learn about photography as an amateur Life of Pi is the best composed movie I think I've ever seen. I think you could take any still from that movie and print it and hang it on a wall. Sometimes I feel like studying the movie to help improve my own composition skills for photography.

Elder, you are supposed to tell her the other rules too.

Quote:What to Do and What Not to Do Around Royalty

The list of dos and don’ts is not as extensive or overwhelming as one might think, but they are important. To break protocol could possibly be viewed as an insult, however, having been a Queen for over 50 years there are bound to be times when even she breaks the rules. Some things to keep in mind:

Don’t speak unless spoken to. According to Martin Higgins, a former butler at Buckingham Palace, in an article for Conde Nast Portfolio.Com, September 6, 2007, says that this is the number one cardinal rule.

When spoken to or addressing royalty for the first time, use the highest official address which applies, such as “Your Majesty', for the Queen, or “Your Royal Highness” for a prince; afterwards use sir or mam.

Women should curtsy and men should nod their heads.

If the Royal person offers a hand, the handshake should be short and not hard.

Allow the Queen to leave the room first; backs should never be turned toward the Queen, unless it absolutely cannot be helped.

During meals, the Queen eats first and when she stops, the others at the table stop. Eat what is served and do not request anything more or less.

Should something drop during dinner do not say a word, someone will retrieve it quietly and without fanfare.

Do not go to the restroom during a meal unless it is an absolute, have-to-go situation. Discreetly ask where the lavatory or loo is located and make it fast. It is best to cross the legs and suffer through if possible.

rummy is good at using subtlety in humor so if you think he is making a good joke. He is making a good joke. And dont feel bad if the humor of it may be a little crude or beyond you at the moment when you read it.

*sniff* You know, you guys, sometimes I feel so misunderstood. See, this time, here's this new person. And she seems pretty cool and not immature or racist. So, I'm like

Quote:Rummy.

Rummy.

RUMMY!

Here's this new person that seems like a nice addition to the community, why don't you say something sincere instead of sarcastic for a change?

And so I did. For once, I listened to the Angel in my head. (btw, it's definately not an azure angle. more of a chartreuse).

But. Just when I thought I was out, Elder pulls me back in.

Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in.

Yes. Yes I am. I sincerely appreciated the studied approach to shot selection and shot composition.

But, since some people like Elder won't be satisfied by me being straight (well, if I am going to use that analogy, Karrde too), then I offer additional commentary on the film:

[tt]This Week At The Movies, Koldbetrayal's No Strings offers a rare and bleak assessment of the corporate conglomeration of caffeinated consumption. The antagonist is a grungy beardo in a hoodie, the likes we haven't seen since the rise of grunge in the Pacific Northwest. This visual allusion to the birthplace of Starbucks is no illusion, as the villain literally walks into town, unbidden, and sets up shop next to a local coffee purveyor. The wholesome hometown coffee-shop, embodied by the fetching protagonist, is soon no match for the monster's charms, which come in the literal form of bracelets and finery. He doesn't seek to know her or to love her, only to add her to his shelf of growing acquisitions. The message is clear: mass-chain coffee is the devil's music and will turn even the most charitable soul into a vento-slinging zombie.

Oh, and it was a little longish.[/tt]
