And getting recent feedback on the etsy store like this is icing on the cake

Quote:I sent this as a gift to my friend for her birthday to add to her extensive glaceon collection. She loves it and it is one of the most well made hats her and I have ever seen. She absolutely adores it and is even more excited now for winter tha she usually; it fits great too, I could not be any happier! It was quickly made despite the seller being in the middle of a move (talk about dedication to his customers!) and shipped in a timely manner too. I will definitely buy again. Well worth the cost. Best purchase I have made in such a long time! Thank You!

Hey caff that storm that caused major flooding in calgary is about to hit you, I hope your electronics are up high (and that you read this in time)... just in case.

Just accepted a job offer. No more screwing around on IRC all day for me.

Also about an extra $4000 per year plus actual fucking benefits.

Now you have a tangible reason to root for chicago sports

I find it funny that a mere 5-6 years ago, no one even cared about the Blackhawks. Bandwagoners (and I'm not calling either of you guys one, Your knowledge of the sport is too high to be one) really leave a bad taste in my mouth. It's like fucking Pittsburgh. People seem to forget that 10 years ago the Pens were trying to put a casino in the arena to pay for the team, and they were ~this close~ to ending up in Quebec or soemthing.

But hey, good on the 'Hawks for winning. Be careful folks, Kaner is coming back, and he doesn't care what he nails.

I must point out, I have no specific favorite hockey team.

Here is why, I have grown my whole life enjoying a number of sports, and have grown up in Ohio, what I like to call the black hole of states (once you're here you can NEVER leave). Anyway, about a year before I moved to Toledo was when the Blue Jackets were founded. I did not get enough exposure to hockey in general in my early youth. Now I am an Ohio fan in most cases, however, I moved to toledo about an hour away from detroit, and because most people around here grew up with detroit hockey that is what I was exposed to the most. But I'm not saying I'm a red wings fan either.

I have no specific affiliation to any particular hockey team, but I did want Chicago to win but more in that it's a more regional affiliation than a passing fancy of fandom (IE bandwaggoning). While I do live in the eastern time zone, I have a closer proximity to chicago than I do to boston. Also, most of the teams from the northeast, and a lot of their fans can be huge ass holes, and I don't want to affiliate myself with that kind of attitude.

However, I just enjoy the game for the sport, as good games, well played games, are fun to watch.

also, nice forward progress on sexual equality from the supremes today. Gays should totally have the right to go down on one knee and propose.

or, better yet, to go down on both knees.

I've never been very fond of frat parties and bars because I'm not a big drinker and struggle talking to people the first time I meet them. I focus on social interaction and then feel bad when I don't talk to any new people. Last night i went to my first rave and rolled for the first time and it was liberating. I've literally never danced for purely intrinsic value and am shy so dancing like that in public, or even private, has never happened.

For those thoseinterested it was a zomboy show.

zomboy fucking killed it in milwaukee when i went

I actually had a blast at that event. Danced my tits off even though I couldn't get enough liquor to get drunk at all. I'm not normally a guy that dances at night clubs. Probably because we don't have any nightclubs here and the only things that try to pass themselves off as nightclubs play shitty music.

As far as social "liberation" goes, I just randomly became extremely social and happy (or possibly my extreme depression went away), around april this year. Can't say it coincided with anything although I suppose I could have been changing my diet around during that time.

I know how you feel though, a social opportunity would come and I would just say meh and go along because there was nothing better for me to do. It's the same reason I almost didn't go to ACEN this year because for me the past year was just kinda eh in my head because I honestly want to say that I've been depressed for a long time. I'm not sure if you're like me at all but I wish you luck in getting rid of it because I have no clue why mine went away, I just hope it never comes back.
