the beta continues.

if you have the beta (still) installed. google search for a .exe file called surprise.exe , it emulates a login server for you to connect to locally. which enables you to log on to the internet option , but no one else will be able to join your game.

if you dont have the beta installed. it is out there for d/l

place surprise.exe in your t2 folder (the one with torchlight2.exe in it) then type start at the command prompt. enter any username/password after t2 has launched.

Alright since there seemed to be a great deal of genuine interest in doing a recorded play through, I want everyone that is interested in doing said play through to post. So far i know Generic and Sogo have both told me they want to play with myself thats 3. Im not sure how many people you can have in one instance of a game. (I think its 4)

Also i think generic was talking about a mod for up to 8 people which i found in the steam workshop.

you can download it directly, so if there are enough people we should do this.

As for when we can do this i was thinking this weekend, as my computer's psu is coming in thursday, or friday at the latest. So for everyone except myself you need to do 4 things.
1. Post here if you want to play so i know how many we could get
2. Install Torchlight 2 if you have not already
3. Install the mod i linked in the post through the steam workshop (just search torchlight 2 multiplayer mod in the workshop. And make sure this is the one we all use or it wont work properly)
4. Post times when we could all get together and actually play (make sure you have mumble for voice coms)
