Otakon! and.. Otakon Las Vegas?!?

~4 Week until Otakon, who still has rooms and/or is attending - I know at least one other person besides me had a room booked.

I considered going to Otakon.  I already have some friends going but it's still going to be an expensive trip.  I was also debating whether to go or not because it seems a lot more actually anime-centric than I would be comfortable with. 

Will there be Brawl?

There is always brawl in every con's game room, also its large enough that while the main focus is "anime" there will be plenty of other things represented.

I hate to say it, but it kind of depends on who else is going. I usually go to cons to hang out with people and I don't really want to be a third wheel.

Im fairly certain pie is coming if toast comes the 4/5 of us could split a room no problem. As for third wheeling, if shenanigans happen, we'll let people know and/or keep them to the bathroom. I have a relevent story regarding as such from CVG, but that's a tale best told in person over a pint of ale.

Good news, I've ocnfirmed that my roomate will be Wreck it Ralph-ing my Felix at some point this weekend, but he will not be staying the night. Bremma and I will be hosting two boarders on Saturday.

I'm going to pick up some ethanol tributes for some of these and cups. Also will be bringing card games Gloom, Coloretto, Meta Game (vidjagame edition).

My wife is on her way.  She'll be staffing kareoke, as usual.  They wanted to do a maid or Steampunk theme, this year.  For some reason, she went with Harlequin Maid and she hopes she's pulled it off.  Support her with cosplaying compliments.  Sing while you're there, too.
