Smoked a pork shoulder yesterday and made pulled pork. It went great with the Jack Daniels based BBQ sauce I made too. 11:35 Socks Greatbacon_work: Just accept the idea of enemas. |

Here is a delicious recipe I can't currently afford unless it goes on sale;
Thai Beef 1 Beef Flank Steak 3/4 cup soy sauce 4-5 Jalapeno peppers (8 if you really want some spice) 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 clove garlic (crushed) (I put a whole blub in - there's no such thing as too much garlic) 1. score flank steak on both sides (Cooking Tips : How to Score Flank Steak) 2. combine soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar and jalapenos in blender and puree 3. place flank steak in plastic bag and pour mixture in bag, close bag securely, turn to coat steak 4. marinate in refrigerator over night 5. Preheat BBQ or broiler, place steak on rack of broiler pan or BBQ (Broil 4 inches from heat 13 to 18 minutes or until desired doneness) turning once halfway through 5. Thinly slice steak across grain. Too hip for gangsters and too gangster for hipsters. |

Not nearly as cheap as it used to be since it became so popular.

Nothing is cheap in the Pacific Northwest, apparently. Except Ianki.
Also, reminds me of how Fajitas were invented to use cheap meat, and now it's one of the more pricey cuts of beef. "If you want to be a Double E, bend over and grab your knees...." "Atom is Sexy!" <-- Donate your own pic to the cause! Victory needs no explanation. Defeat allows none. -Sun Tzu |

I deep fried a Portuguese sausage and ate it on Italian bread with smoked Gouda and mustard. It was pretty nice with a stout. Also I do not enjoy stuffed grape leaves but I love lamb
