And yeah, I kinda feel bad for panda not being able to play properly thanks to his current ISP, but he'll be better soon... well.. a month and a half or so Oh, and Server Patch R7 was launched this morning, the following is the post from NFO Quote:BF4 server version R7 (88472) has been released and DICE told us to deploy it immediately, so we are applying it to your server now. Here is the link to the news post http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/new...tch-notes/ And the link to change logs of all past patches http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/for...944685108/

Alright I found this out recently, there is a variable, vars.mpExperience
This setting enforces a map cycle, but it HAS to be set for Play Now button to have our server gain population, unfortunately NONE of the settings are meant for 64 player maps. SO, here is the workaround. This setting only applies on Startup.txt (which is a one time run config file), so I have put it in there as CQCLASSIC (default 32 player conquest maps), this will show the server as "Conquest Mode", now, NFO has a map management daemon that will take the following steps on first map change. Clear Map List Re-Apply map list based on what I have configured So, that being the case, after any crash that anyone has seen, you MUST run a nextmap (or next round since all maps are set to 1 round only). After the map change the server will execute this. Also, for testing I have re-added lancang dam, golmud railway, and hainan resort to the server's map rotation.

Its kinda shitty but I can tolerate it.... I use the word tolerate loosely. I mutter under my breath when my Soldier starts beatboppin around the map like Chris Brown. I can still shoot the other team like Brown did to Rianna with his foot, but not with the accuracy he had...
I cannot stream or upload my YT shows, I already made 5 episodes on my PC... just waiting for this internet. I am actually thinking its a good thing, I can just release an episode a week and still be 5 weeks ahead. |

Same. Seems we traded server crashes for client crashes now. Fine by me. Lol
It didn't seem like the ping kick was working yesterday and I really was actively kicking people.  We had a couple with over a 300 ping from Finland. Lol |

Anyway, the ping kicker is based on old methods of checking ping where it periodically pings the ip of each player, that being the case, routers, ISPs and firewalls that prevent ping responses will prevent the ping kicker from working. I am working on writing a better method though. Sent from my wireless communicator. |

I've updated the ping kicker to try to check using a different method.

This is from an old BF4 blog post, but we've all given some stories and some of us have some videos, and EA has given an "Only in Battlefield" media kit and clips.
Create your own "Only in Battlefield" with this media kit: http://blogs.battlefield.com/2013/10/you...4-moments/ Only in Battlefield Examples: http://www.battlefield.com/battlefield-4...0&websso=1 |

The terrible battlelog interface combined with long load times and constant crashing make the game unplayable for some people. I'm primarily griding the campaign for unlocks at this point because that seems to be the only time it doesn't crash. It's still incredibly buggy (I don't know how many times I've been frozen in place or fallen through the map) but restarting a mission is less irritating than having a really good round ruined by crashing ten seconds before the ticks run out. |

It's not the constant crashes in both single and multiplayer. It's not that I have to get dozens of kills with any weapon/vehicles for that weapon/vehicle to be worth using. It's not the intermittent spawns into literal instant-death. It's not even the truly idiotic pubbies that wouldn't know coordination if it bit them in the ass. No, it's that I'm just terrible at the game. Not consistently playing shooters for years has sapped whatever modest skill I once had. Nothing gets my blood boiling more than dying over and over after getting the drop on someone, hitting them a few times, then getting headshot and dying. |

I feel your pain.  I really do.  the majority of the issues you explain are due to high pings meshed in with net-code setups.  I toned down my graphics from high to medium and help a little with shooting people lol.  Some of the boards are still unplayable..   Im getting my ass handed to me as much if not as more as you.  If you ever looked at the k/d ratio,  the majority is about the same across the board.   Don't give up!
Given these issues, Â I pretty stay away from grunt warfare. Â Â proof is in the pudding,.... Â Enjoy BRBU BF4 and I don't think I ever saw anybody flip a tank in a heli. Â I might have won the global cup on that one Â

Oh and I forgot the icing on the cake. 90% of matches are one-sided stompfests.
