Is this going to be another pizza debate? Bagels are supposed to be dense and chewy. They're boiled balls of dough. Look, I'm not opposed to lighter crispy bagels, but nothing quite compares with a proper NY style bagel with cream cheese and lox (tomato, capers, etc are optional but highly recommended). Toasted all the way though. I don't care what style they are, toasted is always better.

Buddy of mine left his guitar with me while he's in between apartments and I've been tinkering around on it trying to learn chords. I can do a C and a Dm without too much thought now. My hands are so tiny though which makes the F chord really hard. Feels good to finally start making a little progress towards learning an instrument though. Now to get my own...

Spent my entire day substituting a relationship for Kevin Spacey and House of Cards. It was considerably cheaper and much more emotionally involved.

Stopped worrying about being good enough to fix an antique tape deck that was gathering dust in my closet... and took it to a custom amp builder to get retrofitted into a real guitar amp.
Now I can go back to worrying about my guitar playing :p |

Been stuck on 285 for my deadlifts due to the bar at school being thicker (therefore, harder to grip)
decided to load up 315. repped for four reps, almost kept the fifth but my grip gave out. feels good. also feel like i could rep a lot more if it weren't for my weak grip.
