killing floor comes to mind. Solid gameplay and mechanics, with set zed AI that you need to learn to get better at the game. With proper planning and teamwork that game is easy to manageable. Without the game is punishing.
I've watched the opening and basically the tutorial part of DS2 and i dont plan to see much beyond before playing it myself. I want to beat that game by myself with no summoned help my first playthrough. After that its free game to do whatever the fuck i want. Also death counter at the first village you encounter. Awesome. i guess it really isn't, because succeeding didn't bring any satisfaction, just "ugh that fucking slog is over"
i don't know what i'm doing or where i'm going, i keep dying, my character is slow and weak and controls like shit it feels like it takes the worst elements of old nes games, the ones needed to increase game length when games had much stricter limitations in terms of hardware and/or the developers of that time just didn't know any better, and sticks it into an otherwise generic ~grimdark~ ARPG, and somehow this is now some revered game Quote:Itâs definitely one of those âgamer looking down their noseâ sort of games, but getting someone to explain whatâs so great about Dark Souls is really difficult. I kept trying to get people to explain it to me, and everybody failed. this is me

Also, equipping heavy armor makes you go slow, light armor is pretty fun to play.

So I just figured out that I walked right by this game's Cling Ring equivalent in an early zone, which would have made life while hollowed a lot easier. Derp.

i would simply wait to buy to let the initial wave of dark souls trolls play themselves out and quit the game, so i can then enjoy a higher form of trolling from the truely dedicated as what i come to expect from rummy

DaS2 is better than DaS and Demon Souls in almost every way. And the multiplayer is great, much more involved than before. You still might be better off waiting for the PC version. |

I finally got around to playing Dark Souls. I don't find the game unfairly difficult, but I find myself getting tired and bored quicker than I should simply because of the focus needed to defeat even weak enemies and then having to go grind through it again.

I love the game but I can't beat the first boss yet. I'm thinking of grinding some souls and leveling up a bit more. Or I can just get better.
