PSA - Adaptability is very important even if you want to go faith/int. I was losing every single PVP until I leveled adaptability some and now I've been winning most of them.

There's a rather nice katana you can get in the Crypt whose heavy attack ignores shield. Might be a good alternative to the shotel for dex characters.

I'm trying to decide whether to switch to the Crimson Axe for my Faith build. It has 30 lightning damage base which is OK. Only thing that sucks is it takes twinkling titanite to upgrade, and from what I understand that is a scarce resource. I also kinda wanted to use the faith armor set and that also takes twinkling titanite =(.
Edit: I meant Dragonslayers Axe. I've also found a lot of other elemental weapons in my inventory but I gotta get my dex up.

The hitboxes on some of these enemies and bosses are really dumb. I'm looking at you, Velstadt.

Picked this bad boy up. Parry ftw. Also, watched a guy do a full boss speed run at 1 hour 50 min earlier. What a joke Hex spells are in this game. No wonder some assholes can two shot me if I don't roll correctly. ( or the fucking game lags so hard it doesn't matter what I do to try and avoid damage in pvp ) The speed run will be uploaded later he said before he logged. http://www.twitch.tv/elajjaz |

The speedrun I watched he was using
http://darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com/Sc...3Jh-vldV8E http://darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com/Cl...3JiFPldV8E http://darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com/Gr...3JiJPldV8E http://darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com/Re...3JiNvldV8E Since the hex spells scale with souls he just basically used all the souls he acquired from bosses to down the other bosses quickly. Periodically, he would go and level up according to some checklist he had been fine tuning over the course of however many runs. |

Okay so after my unhealthy two and a half week DS2 binge I got this.
Few random thoughts since I haven't posted on these forums in forever :-X Freja sucks, chaos storm is hilarious, mace OP, gutter > blighttown, GAVLAN WHEEL, 100 AGI to make dodging reliable is kinda crap, green spit disco with your host The Rotten, non-linearity is pretty awesome, the actual boss in the iron keep is that hole when fighting the iron king, Scythe of Want is terrible, Belfry Luna is nonstop party, this is super disapointing, invading players during Looking Glass Knight makes for incredible boss fights, pull the lever, those dragons are wyverns and easier than skyrim's, GAVLAN DEAL, and finally, fuck the shrine of amana. Wish they'd bring steamworks over to DS1. It'll suck to play that game without any sort of online once GFWL dies.
