I'm more a PvE guy myself, especially when you're casual. But i probably won't be getting this game  until f2p

I got it on GMG for $48.  $48 is worth more than $60, seeing as my next month I would only have to pay like....$3 difference?  so basically, instead of $75 for two months, I am paying $63, which is doable.

Stayed up and got characters made on Pergo. However this morning came to the realization about everyone chose Pergo... so queue is 2550. I am going to start looking for a backup pvp to maybe roll on.

I would be too... if you know, there was a free to play option, even freemium or like first x levels free kind of stuff, I don't care.

Ultimately the pay to play model is dying, causing the failure of numerous MMO's that have tried. The Free to Play model has saved numerous games and often increased total profits thanks to micropayments.

Personally, in todays MMO market, it's not a financially sound decision anymore.

I played the closed beta in January-ish and it was fun, but when I saw the $60 pickup PLUS additional monthly fee I got turned off. I'll check it out when it inevitably goes F2P.
