[/quote] Except everyone thinks that almost the opposite of what is happening is what is happening. It's not like we have net neut and the FCC is trying to get rid of it because cable companies. It's more like the FCC is trying to figure out how they can do net neut or some functional equivalent under the authority Congress gave them and it keeps getting struck down by courts. This is the latest iteration of them trying to make new rules after the old ones are no longer in place. All the comments I read are essentially useless because they are like don't take our net neut away and that is completely irrelevant. I feel like it's going to drown out comments of people actually trying to suggest something they can do that will work under the current laws. Edit: Looking through some more of them, I can almost guarantee the FCC is going to say something along the lines of "we received an overwhelming amount of comments from the public concerned about the open internet and wanting protections now, therefore we will proceed with the proposed plan to quickly restore open internet protections within the confines of the judicial precedent." And honestly, this would not be a misinterpretation of the comments - but everyone will still freak the fuck out because they don't know what they are supporting or why.

It matters, and it burns. Not permanent damage, but enough to not be fun at all. I give the guy props for barely grimising.
