Not exactly business travel, but I'll be moving out to Seattle by mid-July. If anyone's ever lived in that area and has recommendations on food/things I should definitely check out (or wants to hang out if they still actively live there) let me know.

Sea food, especially lobster or crab. There's plenty of places visited by plenty of food shows throughout seattle just start sifting food network and travel channel web sites.

somewhere in Mexico at some point in the next few months

You should visit Shawshank while near Mansfield... technically it's not really Shawshank, but it was filmed at the old Ohio State Penitentiary in Mansfield (not far from where you'll be). It is however across the street from the new one... don't pick up hitchhikers.

You can do that in most US states too, pretty much everywhere that isn't Pennsylvania I think
