That's the digital only version of the limited edition. It includes the first two expansions and all the preorder promos (weapons and some skins) that the limited edition has. It's also $10 cheaper than the physical limited edition.

According to versus from IRC yesterday: "Destiny is Not Very Good", according to him 30FPS Single player it works fine, but the multiplayer makes it unplayable.

I will also point this out: Halo wasn't as good a game as many people claimed it to be, we're talking about the same development studio here... keep that in mind.

Oh stop. Halo's a fine franchise and it hit a chord with a lot of people growing up. Unlike something like Bioshock or The Last of Us, people go back to it for more than just story.

The only reason I have ever "gone back to it" is because it's all anyone ever seems to want to play.

I think the character movement is horrible, the gunplay is awful, the pacing terrible and the game not fun. Any of them that I have ever played, and that goes for both single and multiplayer, they in no way ever deserved the praises they got at any point ever.

But given the opportunity to go back and play a Duke nukem 3D Deathmatch or any game mode of halo. Duke nukem will win for me every time. And it's not just because of rose colored glasses (Duke nukem actually gives me mild motion sickness now), I just have more fun playing it than I ever did Halo , even today.

The Halo games are not fun to me nor the stories that interesting, I never got excited over an accomplishment in them or even cracked any kind of smile during any game play of it (and there is a VERY LONG list of games that I have, that includes Chex Quest and Chex Quest 2, seriously, even those were more fun to me).

That being said, I expect the same out of Destiny

Dogg, I don't even like the Halo games that much, but there's no denying they're excellent games. There's a difference between not liking a game and it being shit.

The story telling could use some work, but the mechanics are solid. If you've ever tried warframe, the "single player" section reminds me a lot of that game but with more polish. I'm only lvl7 and the meat of the game is supposedly the endgame so I'm looking forward to that, but regardless I've enjoyed it so far.
