Things are starting to stack up at work and none of it's terrible, but it is irritating.

Like it turns out the issue for a production patch I've been working on was actually fixed in a previous production patch that was never applied.  Yeah, my fault for not double checking release notes when the issue escalated to me, but at the same time this patch was released to production two dev cycles ago and 3 real months ago.

Also, a QA team for another project is getting snippy about having to test their product through our system and is whining across departments to get us to write some scripts for them.  I don't mind doing the work but I dislike the feeling of being used by other people to do their job for them.

This happens a lot in any corporate capacity, make sure that every time you're working on 'cross functional problem solves' - you document each instance.

Come review time you spread out that list and show your boss all the additional 'no my job' things you're doing. If you have a good boss this will help get you a better raise and on a faster track for a promotion.

While I gripe somewhat about the extras I've had to do, I brought it all up in my performance review and it paid very good dividends.

I don't think their video fully provides the example needed to show just how awesome this product is. I need to see how it doesn't connect to the internet, take photos, send or receive text messages and/or calls. All that video is is someone picking up the NoPhone, I need to see it not do these other things!

I'm getting involved with some orgs on campus this semester besides my usual frisbee and I've just received a very large amount of condoms from a sexual health org to distribute. I'm going to be a condom caravan.

There's one that's supposed to be more "pleasurable" because it has a ribbed pouch on the underside...
