As always, I'm super late to the game here. I just picked up a PS4/Destiny and ground through 10 levels last night. No one prob still plays, but i'll add Surf and Crow to my friend's list regardless i suppose!

Fun game yet to do the vault & don't have any dlc :u suck when all weapons for sale are dlc/paywall only.

Hey, this would be a good time to start playing again guys. The new expansion promises a lot of great updates to item leveling and the sort and adding some interesting new endgame content. Today was the hands on reveal for the new weekly PVP type, and it looks seriously competitive and fun: http://www.twitch.tv/bungie/b/654585251 (if you c an get past the canned fake-announcer shtick they are doing).
There also wont be any match-making, so I'm going to need a fire team (also for raids, btw) so people should jump back into destiny a couple times a week with me. Grand 'ole fun awaits. PSN: Ianras |

I've actually never done Vault of Glass, only Crota's end. It's not hard with a team of six, and the mechanics are generally easy to pick up. But, my friend who got me into destiny is really my only gateway into building a team together for it, so I don't have a reliable way of getting 6 people together. Iron Banner is going on right now this week, which is basically PvP but with the characters level advantages turned on. It's very frustrating/rewarding... |

Before the new DLC rolled out, they patched the game this week that added a bunch of new changes to prepare for the bigger changes coming tuesday. Needless to say, the game feels a lot more fun now and I expect that the big changes coming tuesday will even add to that more.
Some changes coming Tuesday: Crucible rewards more often and with better Items. Marks rewarded for each match is also doubling. New patrol events were introduced that are both rewarding and fun. Temple of Elders is being released, which is one of the new end game modes. Basically horde mode with randomized modifiers and objectives. Trials of Osiris runs over the weekends and is a 3v3 team PvP that seems super competitive. All legendary and exotic gear from previous releases will be upgradable to the new power and armor levels (including all those old Vault of Glass gear that have been gathering dust for those people who were only playing pre-DLC) And more, i'm sure. It's a good time to give it another go. |
