'Meditation is supposedly the only way to Enlightenment because the only way to find this truth is through inner reflection - therefore, what you are finding to be the truth in your personal journey should ultimately be exactly what I find to be the truth, though all of our journeys are unique.'

im sitting here thinking 'zane has a date with an apparently gorgeous girl and the one thing he's worrying about is what coffee to order? fuck off' meanwhile everyone else wrote an essay on the essence of the coffee bean. dear lord edit: anyways i dunno, first time i had coffee i took it black and havent really moved since, apparently everyone else has a degree in coffee (my late night sarcasm is going through the roof, im going to bed)

nah I just wanted to take the chance to brag about my date without making it seem like I was bragging.
Seriously though I wanted to ask about coffee and this seemed like a good way to transition into it. In a similarly pimping vein, a friend of mine from Boston is doing a Kickstarter for her first studio album out of college. She's a folk fiddler who focuses on traditional Canadian folk tunes. It's already funded, so no guilt if you don't want/like fiddle tunes. But I recommend giving it a looksee anyway.

I'd just like everyone to know that discrete mathematics is the worst class i've ever had to take. even chemistry with its 8 hour long homework binges cannot compare.

They sound great, I pledged 25CAD as much as I like folk music I don't own any so this will be nice. Woo hoo ACEN here I come. |

[/quote] That does sound pretty good... It's stuff like that that basically proves the RIAA is dying (and we all know it's pissing them off). The ability for an artist to directly provide music to their fans and/or potential fans without the crippling financial blow of a middle man is a huge deal. Honestly if it were not for this move there's probably a HUGE number of artists I never would have listened to in the first place.

Yay I'm posting right after I posted:
So I logged into my Google Music All Access this evening post 5:00 PM on a Friday (local time) and Google presents me with something new, that I kind of like. Seeing as I'm a bit jittery from excessive energy/drink/caffeine consumption today I decided to go with the following: Unwinding - 90s Unwinding - Late '90s Rock Unwinding It generates a playlist based on this "Category"... honestly this is a pretty cool addition if you ask me. I didn't know it did this. |
