So, lately, we've been wrestling with a cat.  He had a urinary blockage, so he had to go to the vet, etc, etc.  Life sucks for Loki.  We've been wrestling with him because he doesn't want to take his pills.  He's 19 pounds of feline!  He's such a gentle soul, so it's really surprising when he goes "Fuck this noise" and fights his way out of our grips.  There was much stress and frustration and collateral scratches and kitty drool.  He has made noises that he's never made before.  It's just been a huge pain for everyone.

The "made my day" part: I was talking with my dentist today and she told me about "Pill Pockets".  They make them for dogs and cats.  You stick the pill in what is basically a treat that's got a hollow for the pill.  She had to give a dog two pills a day for years and these always worked. 

So, I went out and got some.  He ate it.  Fuck yeah.

Yeah, pill pockets are the shit. Our dog tries to steal the bag of them to snack on. As for the cat, my cat also has urinary tract problems. She'll get a UTI at the drop of a hat. Our vet prescribed special cat food that lowers the pH of her urine and that kills all the germs apparently.

Placement tests soon, depression is a bit better, friend gave me 300 dollars of magic to trade of for him and doesn't mind if I trade for myself as well, smash release is soooooon and I get to go to mtg locals then play mtg and smash with my jee eff. Ideally with hot chocolate.
