I don't have anything illicit, it's no significant problem for me if they search the place. What depresses me is that the heroin charge alone has a mandatory minimum sentence of 25 years, according to a journalist friend. His life is pretty much over.

Brake line blew on my car on the way home yesterday. It's happened to me before in my old car so I knew how to drive with it. It's just a pain to fix. (I usually do my own repairs)

someone hit and ran on my car sometime in the early hours of the new year. my car is undrivable, the left front tire doesn't turn and is probably completely snapped off the axle. just this hour discovered it, gotta deal with it in the morning.

The fucker who rear ended my wife is disputing the claim (because he didn't have insurance and doesn't want to pay out of pocket). Wife was stopped on an offramp during rush hour, the local police, our insurance company, our rep, and our agent all live in the area and they all know "There's really no fucking way she cut him off if she was there" (what he's claiming). Anyway, can't go into more detail as this could be a court case, not sure.

well at least you have insurance and all that backing you up, I wasn't in my vehicle and my insurance is liability, so i dont even know if i have a car anymore. can't afford to do axle repairs that's serious dosh. good luck to you guys though, i now know that feel.

Depending on the cost of repair, you may be totaled which does bite for you... you could always go with web-begging (http://www.gofund.me/) I'm kinda trying to do that to pay for a honeymoon for the wife and I because we didn't get to go on one yet.
