the 9S got a buff to erppc velocity, making it a better sniper, it's just not as good up close because its heat generation is no longer insanely low for erppcs

btw, since they didn't touch the thunderbolt 5SS's quirks at all, i highly recommend that for a starter heavy

I'd work on mastering. If for no other reason than to get that 10% extra speed.

A little help because so many brbu'ers are joining the game.

1. turn off arm lock
2. Hit R to change targets (important)
3. Unless you're in a heavy don't trade shots
4. HANG BACK and stick with the group. Heavies are supposed to spearhead the pushes.
5. don't walk in front of teammates

6. The game's principles were easiest for me to learn in a medium, stormcrow prime to be specific.
7. In the beginning just try to find situations were you can pop, burst, and move back in cover. This is easiest to do pushing with numbers and staying toward the edge of your group. Wait til you see the enemy blow his load at your teammate then make the push.
8. If missiles are incoming it means at least one enemy has a line of sight on you. Run and hide. You need to hug walls really tight to dodge missiles.

raven and firestarter are the populars. If you want long range, raven-3L.

This was a fabulous way to end the night. Crimson Strait, assault mode, mixed lance, nobody was going saddle so we fucking went for it. Didn't start the cap until the deathball started over in the docks, and all four of the kills scored by our team were us murdering assholes who came to try to take the cap point back.
