Maybe its time to look into having balanced lances for those full companies; with all forms of support. It would require people filling roles, rather than weight classes; Spending C-bills on something you'd only use in a premade.
Long Range Fire Support(LRM/Las/Gauss) Medium Range Flanking/Skirmishers Short Range Brawlers/Counter-Measures/Scouts That's just off the top of my head. All this is provisional though, if people want to spend a few hundred games mastering a single mech. Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. I'd like to think I'd be more suited for hanging back and long-range sniping (seems to be the way I'm already playing). With that in mind, having just bought my Stormcrow Prime, what mech should I focus on next? Gauss rifles seem fun, but LRM could be sweet too... I'm just not familiar with any of the mechs and their strengths/weaknesses.

Someone asked me about a decent info source for all things MWO. I found this ponderous google doc in the beginning. It has a massive amount of good info, but you need to understand that not all of it is definitive; rather, some of it is purely anecdotal.

I got to the elite tier locust upgrades and bumped Pirate's Bane's's's speed up to a sensual 169.3 km/h, but I started using my firestarter again and I'm actually managing to kill things since I slapped an ER large laser on it.

There's a damage drop off beyond the 600 some odd meters that the gauss' effective range is. 11:35 Socks Greatbacon_work: Just accept the idea of enemas. |

I'm thinking about dropping 30 bucks on this game to buy some mechs, likely starting with a champion Raven. How bad of an idea is this?

I think a lot of us spent money. You might want to think of the mastery packs. They are a pretty good deal and you need 3 mechs to master a mechs XP tree. All packs include the hero mech, the champion mech, and another (usually average) mech. The hero mechs have a boost to cbills when you use them, the champion mechs have a boost to xp. The Raven mastery pack is pretty good and it has the Huginn which is an actually pretty good hero mech (many hero mechs are not so great). You also get 30 days premium time as a bonus for getting a mastery pack. Some mastery packs aren't worth it because of the mechs in them. |

All I've got is a TBR-C, and I wanna spend some money to get at least three more mechs. Since I think we are going to switch our unit contract to Kurita I don't need to get three Clan mechs, but then my TBR is no good for CW anymore so I need 4 ._.Â
I'd like one from each weight class |

also seems that the only way to report a player is through directly sending an email to support at mechwarrior online? i dont think there is anyway to send it ingame when it is usually needed (someone correct me if im wrong so i know in the future) (06-15-2014, 03:27 PM)negate link Wrote:Hah elder you would be ramming it into Dtrains ass.
