Went to my first warmachine tourney today, went 2-1 and won a best-in-faction prize coin.

Finally finished my roof. Only three weeks of shingling evenings.
Well, the outside; I still have to fix the insulation inside.

I think at this point I've very likely fulfilled my new years resolution of going to the gym every day.

The year isn't up...but most weekdays Mon - Thurs I've been going to the gym twice a day, in the AM for lifting and after work for cardio. So I think that this point I've probably hit over 365 gym visits.

Don't forget to take rest days!!!

From your description it sounds like you're taking weekends off but don't forget you'll actually build more muscle during a rest week while in a regimen.

I trust you've been stretching and eating 1 adult cow (or it's protein equivalent) per day as well.

Cardio days are rest days (eg Sat/Sun) Sleepy

Protein intake has been a 3 scoop shake for breakfast in addition to any daily intake. I'm not super concerned with building a lot of muscle, mostly right now I'm trying to eliminate a small remainder of belly fat and get a good six pack.

What I also want to avoid is some kind of bulk/cut routine, I feel like if you get into that pattern eventually you're going to forget the 'cut' part of the equation at some point down the line.

Started my new job this week (working for the courts) and moved into a new apartment (with no roommates) and life feels pretty good.

Plus I still get to take public transit into work and now there is a gym in the building.

It's nice isn't it? I did the same recently and I too am enjoying living a roommate free lifestyle.

It really only means pants being entirely optional is more socially acceptable, because... there's no social part. But that's always a plus! Pants are the bane of the existence of man!

I had the opportunity to sail in the Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race this year.  It was amazing.  I learned a lot about sailing tall ships.  I'm really looking forward to doing it again next year.

I took some pictures near the start of the race.  You can see them here: http://imgur.com/a/QjOWc

Today "work" included going to a country club luncheon for 3 hours and drinking some free Glenlivet 12. Even got them to make me my signature white Russian substitute with bulleit rye. It was a good day.

Boss came to me last week with a heavily damaged USB stick. Someone ran over it with a chair while it was in a PC.
I was able to take it home and fix it with my new soldering station.

Turns out it was an exec's and his wife baked me cookies as a thank you.

The friendly neighborhood owl has returned once again to rid us of vermin and such. I hear it out there every night now.
