When I look at the debacle that is all the shit EA has put out over the past few years with their existing $30 million + budget (about the budget of Frostbite 2 and BF4), and probably a similar budget for Star Wars, then I look at the progress made by this team with a similar budget, then you people think I'm being too critical, or being a generalized ass hole.
Think that if you want, but my attitude towards the majority of big budget games today is that I want to get what I pay for, and almost NO company has delivered on that in recent years, especially with a $60/game minimum (for some). THIS game, the single player ALONE will deliver a $60 worth of entertainment, and right now is still only $45 as a pre-order.

Yeah they were saying Squadron 42 in late 2015, but a 2016 push isn't horrible. Also this is way more game than they were planning way back at the kickstarter.

Oh and Star Citizen Alpha 2.0 is on slow roll out for backers over time (1,000 at first, but eventually fully realized).

This patch includes the capability of multiple people to be in a single ship (only two ships support this right now).

Basically this game is coming together.

Apparently Star Citizen will be separating it's packages here in a few weeks, meaning if you want Squadron 42 (SP Story) and Star Citizen (Persistent Universe MMO Game) you will have to pay for two different things. If you want both for one price, get the $45 package now.
