All Pyro Goodness

A bunch of people were bored so we started playing all server one class types of games.  It went from all scout melee, all spy, all heavy melee, etc.  This is a shot from an all pyro happy fun time.  I need to install FRAPS or something so I can get better screens.  This one was really rushed so you can't see all of the pyros under that huge fireball.

Also Heavy vs. Heavy is the best same class battle.  We just have each team pick a random class to all go to when we do it though.

Oh I know its always done, it was just a really fun time and right before that flame the multitude of pyros all rushing about was hilarious.

We call it Rock Paper Scissors, and each team picks a class in secret on a point control map.  Than we go at it.  It can be very funny at times.

Yeah, like some of the other people said we do rock paper scissors, which is slightly different than what you did. Someone from each team picks a class and announces it over team chat, then the whole team goes that class and the teams go at it. It's almost always either a complete steamroll (spies vs. pyros anyone?) or a complete stalemate (all heavies was epic).

It's always fun though, especially on a map like Warpath where the speed at which the second point is captured typically tips off the other team as to your class choice, and the anticipation builds for the clash when they meet. ^_^

I still want to do some of the epic class matchups I dream about.  Like spy vs heavy, or even better spy vs sniper!  Demo vs engineer was great.  If they just woulda realized they would have done better rushing the demos with shotguns and wrenches =P.  Most demos arent good enough to take out a rushing attacker.

Other match ups I wanna see are sniper vs heavy, pyro vs scout.  Those are all I can think of at the moment.  The pyro vs spy on the orange map was strange in that the spies did really well when they started just using the pistol and keeping their distance.

Medic vs Heavy was the greatest in my opinion. Bastard fatties kept yelling for medics too, and with shit like "Come back MEDIC!" over all-talk, it was fucking hilarious. You can't go wrong with the Soviet National Anthem either.

Oh man it was so epic when I was disguised as the enemy, and I backstabbed someone trying to backstab one of my teammates only to find out one of my teammates was an enemy spy who stabbed me immediately following.

It was like a damn cartoon.
