HEY LOOK SCOUT UPDATE ON THE 24TH

I really doubt it's going to be easy to just snipe people at will with this thing.  It's probably going to have a significantly slow refire rate, be an arcing relatively slow shot, and hopefully be reflectable by Pyros and enemy Scouts, which could lead to your own team getting really pissed at you if people keep reflecting your shots into your own team.  Also, hilarious.

+1 for this. It would be awesome. Even better if you toss it up and have to hit it with the baseball bat, and enemy scouts can deflect it with theirs. And then you can hit it back, etc. It would be like that Pyro map with the SGs where they juggle rockets. Epic.

ive been busy so i hardly play outside of scrims now. point if something is overpowered everyone will abuse it so saying you dont have to use it is a really bad answer. youll be the only guy on the server not doing it

I think the main problem with the scout is he was built around CTF maps but those don't really get any play.  The bat should help him a bit in the other maps, although it could make him too powerful in Arena mode.  Also having him stop Ubers is just wrong.

I mean seriously, the only class that can stop an uber dead?  Sure pyros got the air blast but it's super tricky just to use it properly plus you got to get in close and survive.  Having the scout baseball snipe ubers just sits wrong with me.  Actually encouraging people to baseball snipe at all sits wrong with me.  But I have to see how it plays.

I'm still not looking forward to the huge Demo nerf this patch will bring. :V

Hasn't the Demo been nerfed enough? I call racism. The only thing about him that was stupid was that he could one shot 5/9 classes with the sticky launcher, but that's sort of balanced out by the pisspoor reload time and his inability to fight at point blank in the hands of most players.

Also I've been refreshing the scout update page every 15 minutes, I hope to be the first to bitch about the next new weapon.

It's probably my post right up there. I'd be excited but...even though I like arena did watchtower really need to be made into a stock map? Also what the hell is CP_Junction and why should I care.
